U.S. State Department’s Office of Public Diplomacy (Current Funder)

The U.S. State Department's Office of Public Diplomacy is intended to help ensure that public diplomacy is practiced in combination with public affairs and traditional diplomacy to advance U.S. interests and security.

Middle East Partnership Initiative - MEPI (Original Funder)

Under the direction of the Office of the Middle East Partnership Initiative in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs at the Department of State--and in coordination with partners in the region--MEPI is funding programs that help put in place the building blocks for democratic change. MEPI has set in motion more than 350 programs in 15 countries of the Middle East and in the Palestinian territories. Our partners include local and international non-governmental organizations, businesses, universities, international institutions, and in some cases, the governments of the region. To date, the U.S. Congress has committed almost $300 million to MEPI over four fiscal years. MEPI's funding is in addition to the bilateral economic assistance the United States provides annually to the Middle East.

Michigan State University - Educational Technology Certificate Program

The Educational Technology Certificate Program is designed to meet the needs of educators, primarily in the K-12 setting, who seek to utilize new technologies in their schools and classrooms. Participants have the opportunity to improve their own skills in the use of technology, including the World Wide Web, and develop approaches for teaching others using technology.
