e3Link Project News
The e3Link Project connects students in Algeria with students in the United States. The pilot program connected students in Dewitt, Durand and Pinckney Michigan (near East Lansing) and Las Vegas, Neveda with students in Algiers and Blida, Algeria during the fall semester of 2006. Additional schools were added for the spring semester of 2007. Visit the Schools page to see the full list of schools that participated in the project.
Funding was recently extended for this project by the U.S. State Department’s Office of Public Diplomacy and additional schools are currently in the process of being identified. In this continuation of the program 20 US schools and 40 Algerian schools will be selected to participated in the spring semester of 2008. Additional information will be provided as the project continues to move forward.

Teachers in Algeria attended a training to help increase their technology skills for the purposes of this project. Twelve teachers from four different schools attended the training.
